“Today’s Consumers of Media will be tomorrows Producers”. Learn and develop the skills that are paramount in today’s broadcasting world. The course gives a working experience of the creative and technical skills necessary to work within the media industry. You will record and edit video and audio producing pre-recorded material for programmes in what is termed post production. You will also produce live TV and radio whilst learning the skills of production management and working within the legal constraints of the industry. Added to this, an awareness of TV Graphics and new forms of distribution via internet technologies and interactive media.
The future of the industry is currently in the hands of those that are developing it but it will soon be in the hands of those that consume it. The industry requires, more than ever, creative people for the next development of media, as all its many facets converge. It will also require people that can multitask to a high professional standard. The Level 3 Extended Diploma qualification comprises 19 units.
